Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal/state tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research on complex compliance issues and regulatory changes
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Lead client consultations and maintain robust communication channels
- Collaborate with audit teams on tax provision calculations
- Mentor junior associates on tax software proficiency and best practices
- Utilize ProSystem fx and other digital tools for efficient tax processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license or actively pursuing
- 3+ years of public tax preparation experience
- Expertise in IRS regulations and multi-state tax compliance
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, UltraTax)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Exceptional client relationship management abilities
- Ability to thrive in remote work environments with minimal supervision
