Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 10-15 diverse clients across various industries
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and complex GL accounts
- Process payroll, sales tax filings, and year-end 1099s
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial integrity
- Collaborate with CPAs during audits and tax season
- Utilize QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel functions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of hands-on bookkeeping experience with multi-client portfolios
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven track record of meeting strict deadlines and managing high-volume transactions
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, sales tax regulations, and payroll processing
- Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or QuickBooks ProAdvisor) preferred
- Excellent communication skills for client-facing interactions
