Responsibilities
- Month-End Close: Lead the monthly financial close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of all financial reports.
- General Ledger: Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies promptly.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate financial statements and variance analyses for management review.
- Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities comply with GAAP and local regulations.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
- Team Support: Assist in the preparation of annual audits and support junior accounting staff with complex tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
- Analytical Mindset: Strong attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information clearly.
- Availability: Ability to start immediately.
