Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including GL maintenance, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and IRS correspondence
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks and SAP
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments
- Mentor junior accounting staff on best practices
- Present financial insights to executive stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and Excel
- Proven expertise in GAAP compliance and tax regulations
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills
- Experience with multi-state tax filings
