Responsibilities
- Review and verify invoices for accuracy, completeness, and approval before processing payments.
- Enter invoice data into our accounting software (QuickBooks/NetSuite) with 100% accuracy.
- Reconcile accounts payable statements and resolve any billing discrepancies with vendors.
- Communicate professionally with vendors to answer inquiries and resolve payment issues.
- Maintain an organized digital and physical filing system for all financial documentation.
- Assist the Senior Accountant with month-end close procedures and general ledger support.
- Process checks and electronic payments in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's degree in Accounting is a plus but not mandatory.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent basic math skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and willing to undergo a background check.
