Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial records.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and facilitate external audits with minimal disruption.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and inter-company transactions.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; Master’s degree or CPA certification is a plus.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in a corporate or public accounting setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-financial stakeholders.
