Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume daily reconciliations, including bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Process and review nightly journal entries to ensure accurate month-end and year-end close procedures.
- Conduct variance analysis on financial reports and investigate discrepancies to resolve issues promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Maintain and update internal accounting controls and documentation for audit purposes.
- Collaborate with the day-shift team to ensure seamless transition of financial data and operational continuity.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs) and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Oracle).
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively during night shifts (10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar).
- Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
