Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including reconciliations and journal entries
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable workflows and cash flow management
- Implement process improvements for remote accounting efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals on quarterly filings and compliance
- Mentor junior accountants in virtual team settings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/CMA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and Excel with advanced functions
- Proven track record of managing multi-client accounting portfolios
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication skills for virtual client interactions
