Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP and company policy.
- Ensure accurate tax compliance and timely filing of local and federal tax returns.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions with internal records.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic decision-making.
- Maintain and organize digital financial records and documentation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a strong preference for remote or hybrid work experience.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial regulations.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
