Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and expense audits.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to streamline accounting processes and improve reporting efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
