Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries, perform monthly reconciliations, and ensure financial statements are accurate.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Conduct internal audits of financial records and processes to identify discrepancies and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure all tax filings are accurate and filed on time.
- Manage client billing, invoicing, and collections to maintain healthy cash flow.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support to management to drive business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to work independently with high levels of self-discipline and communication.
