Responsibilities
- Oversee daily general ledger operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and credit card statement reviews to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of tax documentation and support external audits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes and improve cash flow management.
- Conduct variance analysis and provide actionable financial recommendations to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with a preference for remote work experience.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Deep understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a remote environment.
