Responsibilities
- Manage daily financial operations, including end-to-end accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reconciliations for multiple accounts with precision and accuracy.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and annual tax filings in strict compliance with GAAP and local regulations.
- Process payroll accurately and timely for a distributed remote workforce.
- Conduct internal audits and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Collaborate with the finance team to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Generate detailed financial reports for stakeholders to support business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (CPA or CMA certification preferred).
- 5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance within a corporate or remote environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws, financial reporting standards, and internal controls.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
- High level of attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
