Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial analysis of loan applications and existing accounts to assess creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and risk assessment criteria.
- Prepare detailed credit memos and reports for senior management review.
- Monitor market trends and economic indicators that may impact borrower performance.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Review and update customer credit limits based on payment history and financial stability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in credit analysis or commercial lending.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and strong skills in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
