Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and maintain accurate general ledger records
- Conduct internal audits and implement process improvements for financial systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning
- Ensure tax compliance and prepare documentation for federal/state filings
- Maintain client relationships through clear financial communication and advisory support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Expertise in financial reporting, auditing standards, and regulatory compliance
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data

- Knowledge of Louisiana and California tax regulations preferred
