Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with detailed commentary
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes including journal entries and reconciliations
- Manage complex general ledger accounts and ensure GAAP compliance
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Conduct audits and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Expert proficiency in GAAP, FASB, and SEC regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with experience in financial modeling
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
