Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and profit/loss reports
- Conduct variance analysis to identify financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and state/federal tax regulations
- Collaborate with auditors during financial reviews and tax season
- Implement and optimize accounting systems for enhanced efficiency
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for departmental planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience in public or corporate settings
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software
