Responsibilities
- Manage the general ledger and prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Prepare and file corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Conduct monthly bank reconciliations and variance analysis to identify trends and discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Assist in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a plus).
- 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of US GAAP and tax regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
