Key Responsibilities
Your primary focus will be managing our financial operations with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support strategic decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations and tax laws.
- Collaborate with the internal audit team and external auditors during year-end audits.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes to optimize cash flow.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA certification is strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Macros).
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and tax compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain financial concepts to non-finance staff.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with a high degree of integrity and confidentiality.
