Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Lead GAAP compliance audits and regulatory filings for 15+ entities
- Develop and optimize financial models for forecasting and budgeting
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
- Implement process improvements using automation tools (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Mentor junior accountants through virtual knowledge-sharing sessions
- Analyze financial data to identify cost optimization opportunities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance + CPA certification (required)
- 5+ years of public accounting or corporate finance experience
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and SOX controls
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and accounting software
- Proven track record of automating financial workflows
- Exceptional communication skills for stakeholder reporting
