Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and ensure timely processing of transactions
- Implement and optimize cloud-based accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Conduct financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and IRS regulations
- Develop customized financial reports and KPI dashboards for stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Mentor junior accountants and improve departmental accounting workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep knowledge of tax compliance, payroll processing, and auditing standards
