Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client accounts using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis reports
- Process accounts payable/receivable with strict adherence to deadlines
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card transactions weekly
- Assist with quarterly tax preparation and annual audits
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls
- Train junior bookkeepers on software and compliance protocols
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or equivalent certification
- Proven experience with multi-entity financial systems
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Proficiency with payroll processing (ADP preferred)
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
