Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of clients
- Prepare and analyze complex financial statements and variance reports
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific requirements
- Develop and implement financial forecasting models and KPI dashboards
- Mentor junior accounting staff and optimize departmental workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on strategic financial initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP expertise
- Strong understanding of multi-state tax compliance requirements
- Exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
