Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with variance reporting
- Manage complex general ledger operations and month-end close processes
- Conduct comprehensive reconciliations for bank accounts and intercompany transactions
- Develop and implement internal controls for financial systems
- Collaborate with auditors during annual financial reviews
- Lead tax preparation and compliance initiatives for diverse client portfolios
- Mentor junior accounting staff through virtual training sessions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and SAP
- Deep expertise in GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Proven experience managing multi-state tax filings
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail
