Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting for 15-20 small to mid-sized businesses
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Kentucky state regulations
- Lead quarterly tax preparation and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements using QuickBooks Online and Xero
- Collaborate with CFOs on strategic financial planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Xero platforms
- Strong knowledge of KY tax regulations and GAAP
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios
- Advanced Excel skills with data visualization capabilities
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
