Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Conduct financial audits and implement internal controls for operational efficiency
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations
- Develop financial models and forecasts to support strategic decision-making
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks and ERP systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software (Sage 100, NetSuite)
- Deep knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and financial reporting standards
- Proven ability to manage complex financial projects and deadlines independently
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for virtual stakeholder collaboration
