Responsibilities
- Manage monthly close processes including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processing
- Prepare and analyze monthly/quarterly financial statements
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and Arizona state regulations
- Lead tax preparation and audit support activities
- Develop financial models and forecasting reports
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budgeting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years remote work
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Deep knowledge of Arizona tax regulations
- Proven experience with month-end/quarter-end closes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in remote environment
