Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end/quarter-end closings
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) with actionable insights for stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and industry-specific financial standards
- Lead financial audits and tax preparation processes with external partners
- Develop and implement financial controls to optimize cash flow and minimize risk
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using cloud-based platforms (QuickBooks Online, Xero)
- Automate financial workflows using advanced Excel functions and accounting software integrations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and multi-state tax regulations
- Proven track record in financial statement analysis and process optimization
