Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and accuracy
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and general ledger maintenance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting initiatives
- Implement internal controls and process improvements for financial efficiency
- Conduct audits and ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions
- Deep understanding of GAAP, SOX compliance, and Minnesota tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication abilities for collaborating with virtual teams
- Proven experience with financial reporting and audit preparation
