Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end closings, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements ensuring GAAP compliance and regulatory adherence
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and expense management systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic initiatives
- Implement and optimize internal controls to ensure financial data integrity and security
- Lead tax compliance initiatives and support external audits with accurate documentation
- Maintain and enhance accounting software integrations for seamless financial operations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Advanced expertise in QuickBooks, NetSuite, and Microsoft Excel (including Power Query)
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations across multiple entities
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Experience implementing internal controls and SOX compliance frameworks
- Excellent communication skills for virtual stakeholder collaboration
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting
