Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting processes including month-end closes, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable cycles and payroll processing for 50+ clients
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) in compliance with GAAP
- Lead tax preparation and planning initiatives for S-Corporations and Partnerships
- Implement and optimize accounting systems (QuickBooks Online, Xero, NetSuite)
- Conduct internal audits and ensure SOX compliance across client portfolios
- Mentor junior accountants and provide strategic financial insights to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work proficiency
- Expertise in QuickBooks Online, Xero, and NetSuite platforms
- Deep understanding of Texas state tax regulations and GAAP standards
- Proven ability to manage complex financial operations for multiple entities
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
