Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes including month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SEC regulations
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and improvement opportunities
- Prepare and present detailed financial statements and executive dashboards
- Lead cross-functional initiatives for process automation and efficiency
- Mentor junior accounting staff through virtual training programs
- Collaborate with auditors during external reviews and compliance audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar accounting platforms
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
