Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including month-end close and financial reporting
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with actionable insights for executive leadership
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and reconcile bank accounts
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, SOX, and industry-specific regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel modeling
- Lead process improvements to enhance financial efficiency and accuracy
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online, Excel, and accounting software
- Proven ability to manage month-end closes and financial reporting cycles
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with multi-state tax compliance and audit preparation
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder reporting and collaboration
