Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting processes for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with actionable insights
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, IRS regulations, and local Florida tax codes
- Implement and optimize accounting software integrations (QuickBooks, Xero)
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures
- Collaborate with auditors and tax professionals during reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Microsoft Excel
- Proven track record of managing multi-state compliance
- Advanced knowledge of GAAP and Florida tax regulations
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
