Responsibilities
- Analyze financial performance metrics and prepare monthly/quarterly variance reports
- Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, budgeting, and scenario planning
- Collaborate with department heads to optimize cost structures and identify revenue opportunities
- Lead cross-functional projects requiring financial analysis and strategic recommendations
- Prepare executive presentations translating complex data into compelling visual narratives
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and internal financial controls
- Mentor junior analysts and improve departmental reporting processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (MBA/CFA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive financial analysis experience in corporate or financial services
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and financial modeling tools
- Demonstrated experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills for presenting to executive leadership
- CPA or CFA designation highly desirable
- Kansas City market knowledge preferred
