Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize financial records using GAAP standards for diverse client portfolios
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead tax planning and compliance initiatives including federal, state, and local filings
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy
- Conduct forensic audits and reconcile complex account discrepancies
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support business growth decisions
- Maintain proficiency in QuickBooks Online and other accounting software platforms
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with remote work exposure
- Expertise in financial reporting, tax preparation, and audit procedures
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and accounting software
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple projects
- Tennessee residency required for state compliance purposes
