Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Manage general ledger operations and ensure accurate account reconciliations
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures with meticulous attention to detail
- Develop and implement financial controls to ensure compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on budget forecasting and variance analysis
- Utilize advanced Excel functions and accounting software for data analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in public or corporate accounting
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, NetSuite, or equivalent accounting software
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, IRS regulations, and Nevada state tax codes
- Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to interpret complex financial data
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Proven ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced remote environment
