Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliations
- Implement new payroll policies and process improvements
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and timekeeping systems
- Conduct internal audits and ensure compliance with federal/state regulations
- Lead payroll system upgrades and integration projects
- Provide payroll training to HR staff and department heads
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Deep knowledge of federal/state tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, NC withholding)
- Experience with complex garnishments and 401(k) administration
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to lead system implementation projects
