Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees including garnishments, bonuses, and commissions
- Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (FLSA, FICA, AZ DES)
- Manage year-end reconciliations, W-2/1099 generation, and audit preparations
- Optimize payroll processes using ADP Workforce Now and SAP HCM systems
- Serve as primary payroll liaison for HR and finance departments
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce errors
- Lead payroll system upgrades and integration projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR with 5+ years payroll experience
- Advanced certification through APA (CPP preferred)
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and garnishment processing
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now and SAP HCM systems
- Strong analytical skills with ability to resolve complex payroll discrepancies
- Experience managing payroll audits and regulatory inquiries
- Proven track record of process optimization and system implementations
