Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations including EEO-1 reporting
- Oversee garnishment processing and third-party vendor reconciliations
- Lead payroll audits and implement process improvements using ADP Workforce Now
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and new hire onboarding
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and year-end W-2 distribution
- Train and mentor payroll team members on system updates
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced certification through APA (CPP) preferred
- Expertise in ADP Workforce Now and QuickBooks Enterprise
- Deep knowledge of CA wage & hour laws and FLSA compliance
- Proficient in Excel with VLOOKUP and pivot table skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
- Proven ability to manage confidential employee data
