Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now platform
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (HI DCCA, IRS)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and union payroll requirements
- Prepare and file quarterly payroll tax returns (Form 941, HI WH-1)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within SLA
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and termination processing
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Implement process improvements using payroll analytics
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Advanced knowledge of FLSA, HI wage laws, and ERISA
- Proficiency in Excel with pivot table experience
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing and union contracts
- Proven ability to manage confidential employee data
