Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage year-end tax filings, W-2 distribution, and 1099 processing
- Implement payroll system integrations with HRIS and accounting platforms
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies with forensic precision
- Develop custom payroll reports for executive leadership and compliance
- Lead payroll system upgrades and process improvement initiatives
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local labor regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPP certification preferred)
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HCM systems
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, garnishment laws, and state-specific regulations
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance documentation
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving mindset
