Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance across Oregon, Washington, and California
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through meticulous reconciliation and auditing
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes and timekeeping systems
- Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws and FLSA regulations
- Lead quarterly payroll audits and implement process improvements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Expert proficiency with ADP or comparable payroll systems
- Deep knowledge of Oregon, Washington, and California payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Proven ability to handle confidential financial data with discretion
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Experience with time and attendance systems (e.g., Kronos)
