Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll, including garnishments, deductions, and tax filings
- Manage time & attendance systems and resolve employee payroll inquiries
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Prepare payroll reports for auditors and executive leadership
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding processes
- Implement payroll system enhancements and process improvements
- Conduct quarterly payroll audits and reconciliations
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, CA labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot tables
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Experience with garnishment processing and wage attachments
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
