Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and compliance with federal/state labor laws
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Lead quarterly tax filings and annual Form 1099/W-2 processing
- Implement payroll system upgrades and process improvements
- Mentor junior payroll staff and cross-train on HRIS platforms
Qualifications
- 5+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent HRIS
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or SHRM-CP preferred
- Expert knowledge of CA wage orders and local labor regulations
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance reporting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
