Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, OR, WA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and year-end reconciliations (W-2/1099)
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and compensation changes
- Implement and optimize payroll system upgrades and process improvements
- Respond to payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies within SLAs
- Prepare audit reports and support external payroll audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience (5+ years)
- Expertise in multi-state payroll processing and tax compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent system proficiency
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and CA labor regulations
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll reporting
- Proven problem-solving skills with payroll discrepancies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
