Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations and labor laws (FLSA, FLSA, CO labor codes)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions with 99.8% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/yearly tax filings
- Lead payroll audits and implement process improvements
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping systems and employee inquiries
- Develop payroll reports for executive leadership and finance teams
Qualifications
- 5+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, CO labor laws, and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
- Proven track record of implementing payroll system upgrades
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification preferred
