Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage time and attendance systems, reconciling discrepancies and processing adjustments
- Handle garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Prepare and deliver payroll reports to finance leadership weekly
- Investigate and resolve payroll-related employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and benefits administration
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, NY DOL, and IRS regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll platforms
- Strong understanding of FLSA, NY DOL, and tax compliance requirements
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot table and VLOOKUP expertise
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Proven ability to manage sensitive data with utmost confidentiality
- Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills
