Coastal Financial Solutions is seeking a meticulous Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing for our growing client base. This is a hybrid role offering flexibility while supporting our coastal community's financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees across multiple states
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax compliance (federal/state/local)
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding and timekeeping systems
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Prepare payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
- Stay current on FLSA, ACA, and state labor regulations
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now or similar HCM system proficiency
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table experience
- Strong knowledge of federal/state tax filing requirements
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
