Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees bi-weekly with 99.9% accuracy
- Manage year-end tax filings, W-2 distribution, and 1099 processing
- Implement and optimize payroll systems (ADP Enterprise, Workday)
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies proactively
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, FICA, and state-specific regulations
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and garnishments
- Lead payroll process improvements and automation projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Enterprise or Workday Payroll
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state tax regulations and labor laws
- Proven experience with payroll audits and compliance reporting
- Exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail
